Star Trek Fleet Command's August 28 mid-arc update removes the login-streak gate from Faction Bulk Claim, replaces it with a speed-focused Exocomp, and gives players a deadline for their Update 94 Choice Tokens.
The short version: Ops 25+ players can use Bulk Claim without protecting a streak, but anyone holding Choice Tokens needs to spend them before September 10.
Ops 25+ players get Bulk Claim without the streak
Faction Bulk Claim is now available to every account at Operations 25 or higher. The seven-day login streak is no longer required to unlock it.
That is the cleanest quality-of-life change in 94.1. Missing a login day no longer takes away the convenience of claiming faction bundles in bulk.
The seven-day streak now awards a speed Exocomp
The streak still has value. Completing seven days grants a 24-hour Exocomp that increases:
- Warp Speed
- Building Speed
- Research Speed
Once the streak passes seven days, Scopely says another 24-hour Exocomp is granted for each day the streak continues. It activates when you log in.
That activation detail matters. If you want to get real value from the building and research boosts, know what long timers you plan to start before opening the game. Breaking the streak stops the daily Exocomp; another seven-day run is required before it returns.
Spend Update 94 Choice Tokens by September 10
Update 94 Choice Tokens will not carry into the next Battle Pass. Scopely lists September 10 as the end of the Token Exchange and says later Battle Pass exchanges will use a new token currency.
Check the exchange before the deadline instead of leaving tokens parked in inventory. The patch notes do not promise an automatic conversion or rollover.
Alliance Tournaments are still paused
Alliance Tournaments will not run during the Cause & Effect arc while Scopely works on the mode.
The replacement plan has three parts:
- Ra'Ul Raider blueprints in the Star Trek Day event series
- More blueprints in the Labor Day event series
- A temporary reopening of the Alliance Tournament Store, plus a gift chest containing tournament currency, before Update 94 ends
Scopely did not provide an exact store-opening date in the 94.1 notes. Watch the in-game news and Gifts section rather than relying on a guessed schedule.
Claiming bundles should feel less sticky
Reward bundles now process more flexibly. Players can move through other screens while claims finish and can mix Claim All, Bulk Claim, and individual claims without waiting for each action to complete first.
Bulk Research requirements are also sorted by type, while Wave Defense spawning received processing changes intended to reduce delays.
Smaller changes worth knowing
- Academy Field Pass claims moved to the Ship Resources Daily Claim in Gifts.
- Eligible U.S.S. Athena owners gained an Academy Refinery exchange for additional blueprints.
- Field Training tasks now show clearer milestone-point progress.
- Neelix and Harry Kim received more lore-appropriate ability names after their Update 94 art swap.
- Additional checks target chat spam; Scopely warns players about unsolicited messages and connection requests.
The bug-fix list also covers frozen reward screens, Officer Depot bundle claims, Bulk Research power displays, rounded cargo numbers, Infinite Incursions, refinery unlock behavior, tutorial progression, long dialogue text, and the Latinum confirmation prompt.
Your Update 94.1 checklist
- Use Faction Bulk Claim if your account is Ops 25 or higher.
- Plan long building or research timers around the login-activated Exocomp.
- Spend Update 94 Choice Tokens before September 10.
- Watch for the Alliance Tournament currency gift and temporary store.
- Treat unsolicited account or connection messages with suspicion.
